Art of Football

We collaborated with Nike, Nick Knight and SHOWstudio on a project relating to the 'Art of Football'; we created broad campaign elements to increase awareness of activity throughout London.


Emerging artists, designers and illustrators across Europe were invited by YCN to create their own interpretation of the idea and to upload it to a special project website. From here Knight and his team selected a group to have their work shown at Art Basel, alongside his work and the work of his original 11, and to collaborate with Knight on a special creative project.

We produced a number of elements to support the project. These included a series of Live Art Events taking place at creative agencies, art & design colleges and other special venues around London. At these events two teams of artist create a football inspired artwork onto two halves of a specially produced canvas over 90 minutes. 11 advocates were also recruited by YCN to produce bespoke work and host a series of trainer design iD sessions at Nike Town London.

Additionally we have worked with James Dawe to create twenty unique, and football inspired, collages for distribution at a press day.
