Live Studio

We were commissioned by digital creative agency Outside Line to produce 50 films for use as part of their client Becks' coming Fusions project; an ongoing effort to explore links between visual art and music.

Artists, designers and illustrators were tasked with creating something (in any media) in a dedicated studio space, in live response to the track Dawn of the Dead by Does it Offend you. The only rules were that their response had to take place over the duration of the song and that it had to be filmed.

The resulting pieces were uploaded to a dedicated project site for public viewing and consequent judging by a panel including John Squire, Peter Saville and Francesca Gavin. Shortlisted creatives have been invited to create something bespoke for a Becks Fusions music event in Castefield, Manchester.
