Jamie Brown has just completed the above mural at in New York. Flown over late last week as part of YCN LIVE Jamie created the mural over 3 days in the big apple. Huge thanks to everyone at Anomaly, some films and more documentation will be up here very soon.

So September 5th arrived last week, and with it the end of the first ever YCN LIVE. A huge amount of events staged on numerous, world-wide platforms including illustrations in bus shelters in Malta (pictured), Sand sculptures on London's south bank, installations in Helsinki and Stockholm and a whole host of exhibitions and professional practice portfolio reviews in studios.

Paul Jenkins is currently in the midst of his '250 Shoeboxes...' YCN LIVE event at The London College of Communication, if you happen to be near Elepahnt and Castle this afternoon do pop in.

Yesterday Jon Burgerman spent the day at design agency The Plant decorating their wall as part of YCN LIVE. Loads of great photos on the event page here.

Berlin based agency urbn; are currently showing the work of Rob Loeber in the form of 3 large scale black and silver screen prints which will be up for the duration of YCN LIVE.

Yesterday Amsterdam based agency Addikt opened their studio up to Kalle ( http://www.hijackyourlife.com/) to paint a mural on their wall as part of YCN LIVE. Check out the fantastic results here

London based agency Emak Mafu are hanging four beautiful prints by Valero Doval as part of YCN LIVE.

Designer Julie Lee and illustrator Tara Cloak, hoisted a large flag created especially for the YCN live event from the mast of the Montreal barge on the River Thames earlier this week - see a couple of pics here

Tonight sees the opening of YCN LIVE event 'Do You Want Fries With That? It's the lovechild of 93 Feet East and design collective Laser Fingers- showcasing and selling the work of exciting new designers and illustrators as well as a celebration of all things delicious and swimming in grease.
