
Garry Milne is down at the Nike 1948 pop up store today starting the first leg of the visual relay. The visual relay will see 4 young creatives embellish a canvas each, leaving something on the next canvas, thus passing the visual baton.

Dan Mumford presented the first in a series of screen printing talks down at the Nike pop up store earlier today. In addition to to the talk he screen printed a limited edition print that is free to pick up down at the store over the next few days (until they're all gone). There will be some images go up on the flickr tomorrow.

Chrissie Abbott spent yesterday embellishing Max's benches. Al lthe photos are on the flickr. If you're around today, Melvin Galapon will be in the space (32 Bateman's Row, off Shoreditch High Street).

Today over at the new Nike '1948' pop-up store in East London furniture designer Max Lamb will be creating some solid oak benches from scratch that will sit in the space for the next month. Watching Max in action is a sight to behold, if you're in the area, so come down and check it out - Arches 477-478, 32 Batemans Row, Shoreditch. More info on the store here

We're about to kick off a new sportingly related creative project with Nike, to pick up from the momentum generated from the Art of Football activity orchestrated earlier this year. Part of this will involve a series of screen printing collaborations; in no small part thanks to THISISStudio for the loan of the printing bed above. The new work will include a unique visual relay, more details of which can be found here.

The World of YCN, as mentioned on Alex Ostrowski's blog, will be a key visual part of the coming YCN Book. Currently being created by a team led by Bryony Birkbeck and Kristina Grundberg, the World will include sections, clearings, characters and landmarks relating to the various things we do. More images will be added here as all comes to life.

In 2007 Chris Gray won the Freitag Design a Truck competition. His swinging work has now been printed truckside, and can be seen above. Chris works at LOVE in Manchester; who are kindly hosting an event as part of YCN LIVE, details of which can be found here.
