"We spent a day at the design agency and publishing group John brown with a plan for spontaneity. They were unsure about what they wanted except that they wanted a video for their website, and they wanted it to be about John Brown. We toured the building with a camera, making a continuous stop motion animation, playing and interfering with things that we found along the way. Some things worked and some things didn't. Part of the point of this was not to create a slick advert or a clever argument, but to portray John Brown in a fairly honest, niave, and incidental manner, and document the periphery of the daily activities."
