We're working again with Nike to curate a calendar of creative events in their new 1948 pop-up store at Batemans' Row, London. Running until early October, a number of local figures will create work in the space.

Work added to the New Work blog includes projects created through YCN and good things seen elsewhere. Currently it's also a place to chart the creation of The World of YCN - a new physical project, key to the next YCN BOOK.

Make an ad for Playstation...

Current have teamed up with Playstation to celebrate the launch of Resistance 2 and they want you to make the ads to promote it.

If your ad airs on Current, you’ll get £1,000. If the client chooses to air it elsewhere, you can earn up to £25,000. Full details of how to take part can be found here.

Current will also be contributing a live creative brief to this year's YCN Awards - launching with a Call for Entries at the site next week.

Elin a day's work...

A big thanks to Elin Svensson for completing the visual relay in the Nike pop-up store at Bateman's Row yesterday. The complete piece can be seen in the space until the end of the week, with lots of images to be added to Flickr shortly...

Elin's Final Leg

Today sees the final leg of the Visual Relay at the Nike 1948 store. Elin Svensson will be carrying on from Pinky's previous leg, and the results will be on display in the space for the rest of the week.

It's Pinky!

Leg 3 of the live art 'Visual Relay' is underway today in the Nike pop-up store on Bateman's Row. Pinky will be putting his spin on the 1.5m x 1.5m canvas, incorporating Hannah Waldron's yellow circleleft from her leg last week.

Blyk sessions and Towel of Commendation...

Yesterday and today we've run some research exercises for the Finnish company Blyk. Many thanks to all those that attended and to Simon at Blyk's agency Contra, and Elin Svensson for presenting work to the group. Jack Larner was one of those kindly to take part; and can be seen above presenting the Towel of Commendation to mark those Commended (Jack included) as part of the most recent YCN Awards. This year's Awards will be launched with a Call for Entries, week commencing 13th October.
