[Brochure Cover Designs, 2005]
Marketing & Design consultancy Visual Source Ltd required a new corporate identity that would visually communicate creativity and the individual at the centre to the company mindset. [i = me] was developed to strengthen the importance of creative individuals as centre of the creative team. The concept was developed over two weeks with close co-ordination with Manager Director Richard Goodall and Marketing Manager Gin Metharu.
The brand design for non-profit making organisation Thriving was developed and built to the final website. Each section of the website was given a vibrant colour to emphasise the personality of the organisation. The online portal for Emotional Intelligence training works closely with Six Seconds, Sir Ken Robinson, Richard Gerver and a series of leaders in education, creativity and emotional intelligence. A blog was created to enable Thriving members and directors to continually speak to its audience at their own freedom and creative output.

Working with web developer Rich Hurst this project was a great success, and has had an amazing response across the educational network.
Working alongside the Art Director and Editor, The Sunday Times Magazines [Your Brain] supplement was designed and styled to contemporise the set style of the magazine. The project began heavily by setting the templates and stylesheets for the entire four week series, and art directing the external photographic shoot for the four cover designs. The primary emphasise for the design and style was to ensure stereotypical images of intelligence and science were forgotten and a surrealist/abstract thought process was found throughout the final publication.
[ISTD] Red Green Blue. Awarded Merit 2005.

Redefined is a contemporary journal of love poetry, challenging traditional associations of the colour red solely representing love. Redefined explores the reality that love comes in many colours, specifically those of red, green and blue. Designed as a keepsake, through the use of unexpected photography and typographic poetry, Redefined introduces the audience to a beautiful and integral new language of love’s true colours.

Poetry Example:
Blue, if you are infinite; Will my voice echo until time ends? Will it journey forever, into the void? A black without end lurks behind the blue sky.
[Final Major Project]
Mindset is destined to become a multidisciplinary reference journal aimed at eradicating current perceptions surrounding human intellect. It aims to encourage a more laterally able and more creatively productive population.
Mindset: The Future of Innovation is designed as four individual journals produced as a box set. Under the titles: Education, Commerce, Lifestyle and Creativity, each journal discusses current innovations relevant to their specific theme, enabling all audiences to find their area of interest.

4D2i is a creative manifesto offering a glimpse of the future threat to human intelligence. The 24 pages of 4D2i speak intellectually and conceptually to an audience of educationalists and creatives. Philosophical and logical texts accompanied with surrealist imagery imaginatively travel the journey of future human evolution. The primary message; to re-engage creative and logical thought, is illustrated throughout 4D2i using techniques of reflection and repetition. The lines of traditional perspective are redefined illustrating how we dramatically need to change future perspectives and all play a part in encouraging creativity as core to all future human intelligence.
[BA(Hons) Graphic Design Exhibition 2006.]

The graduate exhibition and final year showcase was conceptualised and project managed by the final year students.

My role involved concept development of the 24288 hours from the beginning of course enrolment to the graduate end of year show. The exhibition was set in pitch black, with a blue LED designed identity panel, and downlighters for every individual design board. Identity guidelines were written to ensure the project was unified.
Welcome to Anamorphosis; a self initiated design blog, founded by Graphic Designer (and self-confessed design nerd) Kate Andrews in 2006. Designed to spot new and contemporary happenings towards the future of design Anamorphosis intends to open minds, inspire and enthuse every designer with an ambition to make their mark.
