YCN LIVE - INVENTORY VJ/DJ set AUDIO. Live sound input from INVENTORY's (ambient/experimental/instrumental) DJ set is converted into data that manipulates the movement and size of projected 3D objects, cube/sphere/prism/the letters YCN. VISUAL. Sets of 'Test Cards', made with optical/contrasting patterns and quotes, have been created to play with infront of a camera. The input from the camera is fed through a laptop and manipulated by our custom built programme to create Live changeable geometric patterns of video. We were asked to produce a special LIVE piece of work for the Launch Night of the YCN LIVE series of events. We teamed up with interactive designer David Benque and designed this one-off interactive VJ system and built the typographic projection screen. www.inventorystudio.co.uk
One of a series of 'mantras' that I refer to know and again. I entered each phrase from my list into a google image search and used the first unbranded medium sized image as a background. Some surprising combinations were created. See website for full series www.robertboon.co.uk
